Seems to be working in Addictive drums 2, with the exception of the 16 inch cymbal(Ride2 cable) and 4th TOM(TOM4 cable). I have a DM10 X with a 4th TOM and a total of 2 14inch cymbal and 1 16 inch symbol. I apologize if this has been covered in another thread, I didn't find the exact scenario. I have selected DM10 in the presets but its way out of whack with it's mapping. I tried the renaming thing but as you say it caused errors. Just select the "DM10" MAP PRESET in AD2 do some fine adjustments to suit your needs and Save it. AD2map files for its MIDI Mappings and the directory for Windows will be something like:ĭocuments\Addictive Drums 2\-1\(Your Mappings Here). This provides for lots of versatility, as you can use this track for things like parallel processing, having a dry track to compare to, or even having it muted altogether so you can monitor the individual kit pieces only.įor lots more information about what Drum Maps are and how you can utilize their functions, check out this section [of our SONAR Online Documentation.MIDI Map Presets - Addictive Drums 1/2 & Superior Drummer 2/3 (DM10 Studio Kit)ĪD2 does not work nicely with files taken from AD1 which is bound to cause instability and errors, you'll have to treat AD2 as a new program.ĪD2 uses. Note that processing in SONAR on any of these tracks will not affect how the AD2 Master (ST) track will sound only processing within Addictive Drums 2 will affect the way this track sounds. For convenience, the Overhead, Room, and Bus tracks are all formatted as stereo as well (as indicated by (ST) on the respective tracks. Most of the subsequent tracks are mono outputs for each individual drum from Addictive Drums 2, allowing you to process the audio from each drum kit piece individually.

The first track is a Master Track, which outputs all the sound from Addictive Drums 2 onto one stereo track. You can also insert any beat directly from Addictive Drums 2 onto track 15 by clicking the “Beats” tab in the upper-right corner of Addictive Drums 2, highlighting any beat and dragging it to Track 15.

Track 15 is your MIDI track, which you can use to input the MIDI data for Addictive Drums 2.
